On talks

I’m rewriting a talk I’ve given a couple of times. And part of it is just trying to make it flow a bit better. And another part of it is falling in love with the subject again. The last part, which is far more important than either of the others, is updating the examples.

Like with everything, I like my talks to be interactive. So the gauge of a good talk is whether the audience engages with it. And I spend far too much time looking for examples we can all get excited about. So that’s what I’m doing this week.
